“The Real Risk Is Doing Nothing”

Pat Fleming – Creator of “Another Day Another Diner”

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (March 2026) Bright Sighted Media has released a new episode of The Good Stuff, featuring Pat Fleming, the creator behind the growing social media series Another Day Another Diner. Pat has built a loyal following by visiting diners throughout New York’s Capital Region and beyond, highlighting the people, stories, and community behind these beloved local spots.

Pat launched his first video in May 2025 as a small side project. What started as a way to spotlight local diners quickly gained attention online, earning millions of views across platforms. As his series grew, he attracted tens of thousands of followers on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube as viewers tune in to see which diner he’ll visit next. (timesunion.com)

“These diners, which are unique to American culture, are a dying breed. I wanted to bring more attention to these local mom-and-pop shops,” said Pat.

Pat also reflected on the value of taking a chance on new ideas: “You’d rather regret doing something than regret not doing something. The real risk isn’t doing something — the real risk is doing nothing.” For Pat, putting himself out there with Another Day Another Diner was a way to turn a small idea into something that could positively impact both diners and the wider community.

Through his videos, Pat focuses less on reviewing food and more on capturing the character of each diner—the atmosphere, the history, and the people who keep these small businesses running. He hopes his platform helps bring new customers through the doors and reminds viewers why these classic American restaurants still matter.

In addition to producing content, Pat recently launched his own locally roasted coffee brand, Big Black Coffee, inspired by the diner coffee experience and sourced from the same type of roasts many diners serve.
