Shreya Sharath – Girls Inc. Leader, Author & Founder of GleeBoxx

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (April 2026) — What does it look like to build a nonprofit, publish books, and advocate on Capitol Hill… all before graduating high school? In the latest episode of The Good Stuff, Shreya Sharath shares how she’s turned creativity and leadership into real impact through her journey with Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region.

An 11th grader, Shreya is a two-time published author and illustrator of The Hidden Realm series, a national Girls Inc. brand ambassador, and the founder of GleeBoxx, a nonprofit focused on delivering thoughtfully curated care packages that emphasize dignity and compassion. She also serves on the Teen Advocacy Council, where she’s helped lobby for issues like menstrual equity in Washington, D.C. What began as a résumé-building opportunity through Girls Inc. quickly became a powerful community for her.

In the episode, Shreya reflects on balancing ambition with authenticity and the importance of staying grounded in kindness. Whether through writing, advocacy, or community service, her story highlights the power of community and what’s possible when young people are supported.
